Medium bodied with good tropical notes of apricot and lemon zest. Moist and juicy with firm acid. Biodynamically produced. Like 2021, the acid is higher, the wine is a bit more austere, bordering on being reductive but still savory and refreshing for sure....always about texture.Still, assuredly, a California Chenin Blanc.
The 2022 was picked August 23rd at 20.8˚B. We fermented in a combination of stainless steel tanks and concrete eggs. Malolactic was not blocked, but did not complete. Bottled January 2023.
