This bright Sauvignon Blanc shows the citrusy, sunny side of Angela Osborne’s collaborative winemaking prowess. Dry, zippy, and refreshing, the Land of Saints Sauvy B is tropical as all get out, with notes of ripe mango, passionfruit, lemon, and peach candy.
Land of Saints is a collaboration between New Zealand winemaker (turned Californian) Angela Osborne, her husband Jason, and fellow Santa Barbara County winemaker Manuel Cuevas. The label gets its name from Jason’s hometown of Cornwall, England, which was frequented by so many holy people back in the day that it became known as the ‘Land of Saints.’ When Angela and Jason moved to the U.S., they found themselves in another ‘land of saints,’ counting at least the 30 different Sans and Santas in California! Their focus with the Land of Saints project is to showcase the incredible diversity of CA
